This website forms part of my human geography doctoral research into learning with digital technologies, urban woodlands and the more-than-human.

The research focuses on the work of six months collaborative walking with children and GoPros, creating research encounters that enabled new shared knowledges and processes of responding with urban woodland environments. These responses have been multiple, including embodied and creative, digital and arts-based. Possibilities for learning with walking, creating footage with GoPros and sharing learning from digital platforms such as YouTube developed through this research.

The Woodlands Explorers page of this website was an ongoing collaborative collaging page for the project participants to use together during the research process, to experiment with as they walk, create and edit footage.

The Encounters page highlights some of the video footage from our research.
